If applied to a cat, or ingested by a cat that has licked a recently treated dog, this veterinary drug may cause serious adverse effects.
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active ingredients or any of the excipients. Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
Read the package insert before use.
Fleas:
This veterinary medicine kills fleas on infected animals and prevents further infestations during month. It is effective against the following fleas found in dogs. This veterinary drug also prevents the multiplication of fleas for two months after application, by inhibiting the hatching of eggs (ovicidal activity) and by inhibiting the appearance of the adults from eggs laid by adult fleas (larvicidal activity).
Ticks:
This veterinary drug kills and repels ticks (Rhipicephalus sanguineus and Ixodes ricinus for month, and Dermacentorreticulatus for up to three weeks). If ticks are already present when the veterinary drug is applied, not all ticks may be killed within the first 48 hours but may be killed within a week. To remove ticks, the use of appropriate tick forceps is recommended.
Sandflies, mosquitoes and stable flies:
This veterinary drug repels (prevents biting) flying insects such as sand flies(Phlebotomusperniciosus), mosquitoes (Culexpipiens, Aedes aegypti) and stable flies (Stomoxyscalcitrans) for month after application. It also kills mosquitoes (Aedes aegypti) and stable flies for month after application.
